The Laurus Trust is delighted to announce that it has been selected as the sponsor of the new primary school at Woodford Garden Village. It will be known as Woodford Primary School and will open in September 2022, initially providing 30 Reception places with a further Reception class added each academic year. The school will also be home to a 20-place nursery.Located at the heart of the Woodford Garden Village community, our intention is for Woodford Primary to be a true local school. It will be an inclusive, non-selective, non-denominational one form entry school where all pupils can thrive, regardless of their background or circumstance.The Trust now looks forward to working with Stockport MBC, the Department for Education and Conlon, who are constructing the school.
